				<list type="ol" smilref="speechgen0002.smil#tcs2" id="dtb10"><li><p><sent id="dtb11" smilref="speechgen0002.smil#tcp10">Use <acronym title="Digital Accessible Information System" pronounce="yes">DAISY</acronym> Pipeline Narrator to convert the DTBxml file to a <acronym title="Digital Accessible Information System" pronounce="yes">DAISY</acronym> Talking Book 2.02 or <acronym title="Digital Accessible Information System" pronounce="yes">DAISY</acronym> 3 file that is an Mp3/wav encoded format that will play on an Mp3 player or on a <acronym title="Digital Accessible Information System" pronounce="yes">DAISY</acronym> player.</sent></p></li>

				<p><sent smilref="speechgen0002.smil#tcp13" id="dtb14">Both steps are simple to do and you don't really need to know all the format names and what they mean to do it. </sent><sent id="dtb15" smilref="speechgen0002.smil#tcp14">Below is the simple steps (assuming you have downloaded the save as <acronym title="Digital Accessible Information System" pronounce="yes">DAISY</acronym> plug in for MS Word and the <acronym pronounce="yes" title="Digital Accessible Information System">DAISY</acronym> Pipeline program).</sent></p>

					<strong>STEP ONE: Converting </strong>
					<strong>T</strong>
					<strong>ext in a Word 07 Document</strong>

					<li><p><sent id="dtb18" smilref="speechgen0002.smil#tcp16">Save text first as a word document and name it.</sent></p></li>
					<li><p><sent smilref="speechgen0002.smil#tcp17" id="dtb19">Select "Save as DAISY" and it will open a window to name the file and the destination. </sent><sent smilref="speechgen0002.smil#tcp18" id="dtb20">(I save on the desktop so it's easy to find.)</sent></p></li>
					<li><p><sent id="dtb21" smilref="speechgen0002.smil#tcp19">When saved, you will see it as a white page icon with a globe (It is an Internet readable file now - xml)</sent></p></li>

				<p><sent id="dtb22" smilref="speechgen0002.smil#tcp20">That's all to step one!</sent></p>
				<p><sent id="dtb23" smilref="speechgen0002.smil#tcp21"><strong>STEP TWO:  Converting the <acronym pronounce="yes" title="Digital Accessible Information System">DAISY</acronym> Word 2007/xml file as a full DTB in Pipeline.</strong></sent></p>

					<li><p><sent smilref="speechgen0002.smil#tcp22" id="dtb25">Open Pipeline</sent></p></li>
					<li><p><sent smilref="speechgen0002.smil#tcp23" id="dtb26">Select "File" at the top left and choose "New job".</sent></p></li>
					<li><p><sent smilref="speechgen0002.smil#tcp24" id="dtb27">In the next window, choose "creation" click on the plus sign (we are going to create here!)</sent></p></li>
					<li><p><sent id="dtb28" smilref="speechgen0002.smil#tcp25">Under "Creation"- after you open the choices with the plus sign- select "simple".</sent></p></li>
					<li><p><sent id="dtb29" smilref="speechgen0002.smil#tcp26">Select "Narrator".</sent></p></li>
					<li><p><sent id="dtb30" smilref="speechgen0002.smil#tcp27">Press the "Next" button.</sent></p></li>
					<li>
						<p><sent id="dtb31" smilref="speechgen0002.smil#tcp28">A new window will open asking you to browse for the file you want to convert. </sent><sent smilref="speechgen0002.smil#tcp29" id="dtb32">Browse to the desktop (or wherever you saved your converted </sent></p><sent>
						<pagenum smilref="speechgen0002.smil#tcp30" id="page2" page="normal">2</pagenum>
						</sent><p><sent smilref="speechgen0002.smil#tcp31" id="dtb33">text) and select it. </sent><sent id="dtb34" smilref="speechgen0002.smil#tcp32">Then set your destination spot where it will be saved - I choose the desktop.</sent></p>
					</li>
					<li><p><sent id="dtb35" smilref="speechgen0002.smil#tcp33">Press the "Finish" button. </sent><sent smilref="speechgen0002.smil#tcp34" id="dtb36">That's pretty much it - now the computer does the rest of the work.</sent></p></li>
					<li><p><sent smilref="speechgen0002.smil#tcp35" id="dtb37">Up at the top of the screen on the left you will see a green play button and a red stop button. </sent><sent smilref="speechgen0002.smil#tcp36" id="dtb38">Press the green play button to start the conversion process. </sent><sent smilref="speechgen0002.smil#tcp37" id="dtb39">Depending on the size of your file, this might take a while.</sent></p></li>

				<p><sent id="dtb40" smilref="speechgen0002.smil#tcp38">There will be many green bars that fill up as the different pieces of encoding are completed. </sent><sent smilref="speechgen0002.smil#tcp39" id="dtb41">When done, the script will say that the job is finished.</sent></p>
				<p><sent smilref="speechgen0002.smil#tcp40" id="dtb42">Your converted file will be saved where you told it and is ready to play!</sent></p>
				<p><sent smilref="speechgen0002.smil#tcp41" id="dtb43">You will see 3 folders:</sent></p>

					<li><p><sent smilref="speechgen0002.smil#tcp42" id="dtb45"><acronym title="Digital Accessible Information System" pronounce="yes">DAISY</acronym> 202 plays on older players, </sent></p></li>
					<li><p><sent id="dtb46" smilref="speechgen0002.smil#tcp43">A folder with Mp3 that will play in Mp3 players, </sent></p></li>
					<li><p><sent id="dtb47" smilref="speechgen0002.smil#tcp44">A third folder with numbers only - will be the wav files.</sent></p></li>
				</list>
				<p><sent id="dtb48" smilref="speechgen0002.smil#tcp45">The sound files in these folders should open and read in a <acronym pronounce="yes" title="Digital Accessible Information System">DAISY</acronym> player. </sent><sent id="dtb49" smilref="speechgen0002.smil#tcp46">You can play the wav or mp3 files in Windows media player or Quicktime player/iTunes. </sent><sent id="dtb50" smilref="speechgen0002.smil#tcp47">Just double-click on an Mp3 file on your computer and it should automatically open a player on your computer and start reading.</sent></p>
